Insecticide: blend together hot peppers, 1 large onion, a bulb of garlic and add water. Let the solution sit for a day, strain and then spray on your plants. This is a healthy alternative to store bought insecticides because you are not using harmful chemicals that are bad for you and your plants.
Recycle your coffee grounds- sprinkling these over the soil of your garden will add organic matter to your soil, which works to improve water drainage, retention and aeration in the soil. It will also promote the growth of beneficial microorganisms that your plants need to grow and will help to attract earthworms.
